Bunless Bacon Burger

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices bacon

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Instructions:

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat


Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties


Season each patty with salt and pepper


Wrap each burger patty with 2 slices of bacon, securing them with toothpicks


Grill the bacon-wrapped patties for 5-7 minutes per side or until cooked to your liking

Easy Peasy Vegan Lentil Soup

The vegan lentil soup is easy to make, doesn't take long, and tastes great. Great for a cozy dinner during the week or for making meals ahead of time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried lentils

  • 4 cups vegetable broth

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 carrots, diced

  • 2 celery stalks, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Put olive oil in a big pot and heat it over medium-low heat


Toss in the chopped onion, carrots, and celery


For about 5 minutes, or until softened, saut


Ground cumin, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper should be added


Go on and cook for two more minutes


Add the vegetable broth and dried lentils


Bring up the temperature


Turn down the heat, cover, and let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the lentils are soft


Check the seasoning and make changes if needed


Enjoy while hot!

  • 4 potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 4 carrots, sliced

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3 cups beef broth

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1 cup frozen peas

Instructions:

Put flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl and mix them together


Cover the beef cubes with the flour mix


Cover the beef and put it in the slow cooker with the potatoes, carrots, onion, and carrots


Put the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth in a different bowl and mix them together


Mix the broth and water together and pour it over the vegetables and beef in the slow cooker


Put the bay leaf in


Put the lid on top and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high for 4 to 6 hours, until the foods inside are soft

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

  • Food coloring red, black

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt


In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract


Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms


Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then roll it out to 1/2-inch thickness


Use a Mickey Mouse-shaped cookie cutter to cut out donuts


Remove excess dough and re-roll as needed


Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350F 175C

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pizza dough

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni

  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers

  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives

  • 1/4 cup diced onions

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375F 190C


Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick


Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges


Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, black olives, and onions evenly over the sauce


Sprinkle the garlic powder, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes if using over the toppings


Starting from one end, tightly roll up the dough to form a log


Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch thick slices, creating individual pizza rolls


Place the pizza rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat


Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pizza rolls for a golden finish


Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly


Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping
